2. Purpose

The site presents the activity of SANKO, a vehicle rental company operating in Togo and Benin. It offers a catalogue of models, rental enquiry and contact forms, and a customer area for following up on enquiries.

Browsing the site, sending an enquiry or creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms. Anyone who does not accept them is asked not to use the site.

3. Definitions

• “Site”: all pages accessible from sankotogo.com.
• “User”: any person browsing the site, with or without an account.
• “Customer”: any user who has created an account or signed a rental contract.
• “Enquiry”: a rental request or message sent through a form on the site.
• “Rental contract”: the document signed between SANKO and the customer setting the terms of the service.

4. Nature of the services

SANKO offers short and long term vehicle rental, leasing, fleet management, airport transfers and tourist or business support.

An essential point: every SANKO vehicle is rented with a professional driver. The site offers no self-drive rental. Customers therefore provide no driving licence or driving record, and never drive the rented vehicle themselves.

5. Customer account

Creating an account is optional: an enquiry can be sent without one. An account lets you find your past enquiries and submit new ones more quickly.

5.1. Information requested

• Full name, or company name for a business;
• email address, which serves as the login;
• telephone number, with its international dialling code;
• a password, chosen by the user.

5.2. User commitments

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
• keep the password confidential and not share it;
• report any unauthorised use of the account to SANKO without delay;
• create only one account per person or per company.

Any action carried out from an account is deemed to come from its holder, unless evidence to the contrary is brought to SANKO's attention.

5.3. Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account at any time by writing to officetg@sankosarl.com. Data linked to rental contracts already concluded is kept for the period required by accounting and tax obligations, as set out in the privacy policy.

6. Rental enquiries

An enquiry sent from the site is an initial contact, not a firm booking. It does not bind SANKO until availability has been confirmed and the rental contract signed.

No rates are published on the site. Prices depend on duration, vehicle, itinerary, schedule and options, and are quoted case by case.

Photographs and specifications shown in the catalogue are indicative. The vehicle actually supplied may differ in non-material respects; its availability is confirmed by the team when the enquiry is processed.

7. Use of the site

The following are prohibited, without this list being exhaustive:

• attempting to access non-public parts of the site or to disrupt its operation;
• sending automated or bulk enquiries, or enquiries for canvassing purposes;
• extracting all or part of the catalogue by automated means;
• impersonating a third party when sending an enquiry or registering.

The forms are protected by a limit on the number of submissions per IP address. Abusive use may result in temporary blocking, without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The SANKO brand, logo, texts, visual identity and photographs on the site are protected. Any reproduction or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.

9. Liability

SANKO maintains the site with care, without guaranteeing that it is free of error or continuously available. The site may be suspended for maintenance or for a cause beyond SANKO's control.

SANKO is not liable for damage resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the user, from a fault in the user's equipment or connection, or from the content of third-party sites linked from the site.

Obligations relating to the rental service itself are governed by the rental contract, not by these terms.

10. Personal data and cookies

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the cookie policy. Both documents form an integral part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

SANKO may amend these terms. The applicable version is the one published on the site at the time of use, and the date of last update appears at the top of this page. Account holders are informed of any substantial change by email.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Togolese law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Lomé.
